Ink and the Forge: Building Stories Element by Element is a practical guide for writers who want to understand how strong stories are built from the ground up.
Rather than treating storytelling as one large, mysterious process, the book breaks it into the individual elements that shape a compelling narrative—character, structure, conflict, pacing, theme, setting, and more—and shows how those pieces work together. Designed for both new and developing writers, Ink and the Forge offers a clear, structured approach to story development that can be applied to novels, short fiction, and other narrative forms.
The book received an International Impact Award for its contribution to new and developing authors.

All That Remains is a psychological crime thriller set in New Orleans, following Detective Leah Bennett as she returns to homicide six months after a shooting left her wounded and her partner dead.
Her first case back begins with the murder of a young artist in a Royal Street gallery. What looks like a personal crime soon becomes harder to contain, drawing Leah into an investigation shaped by grief, memory, and questions that refuse to stay buried.
As the case deepens, Leah must navigate the pressure of proving she can still do the job while confronting the parts of her own life she has not yet learned how to leave behind.
